Construction Update

Stowe Mountain Lodge officially opened on June 14, 2008. Owners and their families as well as Lodge guests are enjoying a respite from the hustle bustle of the everyday. They're having drinks in the Hourglass Bar, and dining in Solstice Restaurant.

Construction is on schedule for the new Base Camp at Spruce Peak, the future base lodge that will serve as Stowe Mountain Resort's primary source for skier services. Across from Stowe Mountain Lodge and just to the right of the Over Easy gondola, it will include restaurants, a bar & lounge, indoor & outdoor fireplaces, rental & repair shops, retail shops, tickets, and year-round conference & event space.

The beautifully designed building will provide convenient access to the slopes at Spruce Peak and Mt. Mansfield. The the new base lodge is scheduled for ski season 2008/2009. Spruce Base Camp will be the second major component of the Spruce Peak at Stowe community to open.

The 5,500 square foot Stowe Mountain Club Golf Cottage is open! It's ideally nestled near the first tee of Stowe Mountain Club. Amenities include men's and women's locker rooms, a Polo Ralph Lauren designed pro shop, a cozy restaurant, lounge and bar, an outside covered veranda, and an indoor golf studio for lessons, club fittings and video analysis.

Doubling as a snow shoe and cross country ski center in the winter, the golf cottage will be an intimate year-round meeting and socializing venue.
